Cantigny First Division Museum Cantigny First Division Museum will host their 14th Annual civil War Symposium and family fun living history event. Free camping, parking and a Saturday lunch for all pre-registered reenactors. Lectures by noted Civil War scholars sponsored by the National Archives at Chicago, Saturday October 1 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm to include “The First Battle of Manassas”, by Ray Brown; “Baring the Iron Hand”, by Steven J. Ramold; “Thomas Jackson Gains a Nickname”, by James I. Robertson; and “the 1861 Campaign in Western (West) Virginia”, by Mark S Snell. Pre registration and payment is required to attend lectures.
