March 25, 2009 The Grove Civil War Living History Days! The Grove National Historic Landmark, 1421 Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, Illinois 60025 Saturday and Sunday - July 25 & 26 - 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day. $5.00 admission daily. Authentic union and Confederate Encampments, Ladies Bath House, Blue vs. Gray skirmishes beginning at 11:00 am both days, visit the field hospital and shop the Sutlers for Civil War era articles. Saturday Evening Activities - Cost is $6.50 per person. Candle Light Tours of the camps on Saturday night, beginning at 7:00. These are guided tours through the camps, and participants will end their tour at The Butterfly Ball and can stay and dance. Food and Refreshments are available at the concession/food service area.
